Celebrating Fellowship Alumnus Bobby Chhabra: ASSH President-Elect 2025

The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of San Antonio is proud to congratulate Bobby Chhabra, a distinguished graduate of our fellowship program Class of 2002, on being elected to the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) Presidential line in the fall of 2023.

Dr. Chhabra’s dedication to advancing the field of hand surgery is evident in his leadership within ASSH. He served as Treasurer for three years before being elected to the Presidential line and is now serving as President-Elect for 2024-2025. He will officially step into the role of President in the fall of 2025.

As a member of the ASSH Young Leaders Class of 2007, Dr. Chhabra has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the specialty and his peers.

We are honored to celebrate Dr. Chhabra’s accomplishments and look forward to the incredible impact he will make as ASSH President.
