Robert Medoff, Developer of Fragment-Specific Fixation for Wrist Fractures, Visits the Hand Center!
We are proud to have had Dr. Medoff travel all the way from Hawaii to San Antonio to help teach our Hand Surgery Fellows and local Orthopaedic Surgery Residents more about Fragment-Specific Fixation of complex distal radius fractures.

On August 1st, we enjoyed an amazing night of baseball and camaraderie at Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium when we said good-bye to our 2014-15 fellows and also welcomed in our 2015-16 group!

Today is a bittersweet day for us. Today, three incredibly talented young surgeons will complete their fellowship training in upper extremity and microvascular surgery here at the Hand Center of San Antonio and will move on to wonderful practices across the country.

Fireworks Safety: Remember, Fireworks Can Still Burn After the Holidays!
If you have fireworks left over after the July 4th celebrations, remember to continue to exercise caution and practice fireworks safety to avoid hand injuries and other accidents. Fireworks can still cause serious injuries...even after the holidays. We tend to see many hand injuries that could have been avoided by following simple fireworks safety guidelines.
