The Hand Center of San Antonio is happy to host Dr. Eduardo Hevia-Crespo from Madrid, Spain as the most recent rotating Orthopaedic Surgery Resident as part of the Spanish Exchange Program in partnership with El Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, Spain.

Dr. Green was recently honored by Baylor College of Medicine for his distinguished career as a hand surgeon and educator. We are very proud of Dr. Green!

Dr. Nicholas Vedder from the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington recently visited the Hand Center of San Antonio as our 2016 Visiting Professor!

We are very proud of Dr. Ramesh Srinivasan, who has been invited as an Associate Instructor at the Advanced Shoulder and Elbow: Evidence, Outcomes & Controversies course sponsored by the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).

Dr. Saucedo recently co-authored an article published by the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and will be participating in a webinar for the ASSH Business of Hand Surgery Committee.

The Hand Center of San Antonio is in the middle of interviewing bright, talented Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery residents from across the country for a place in our Hand and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship Class of 2017-2018.

The Hand Center would like to welcome it's newest resident participating in our Spanish Exchange program, Dr. Gloria Talavera.

On August 1st, we enjoyed an amazing night of baseball and camaraderie at Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium when we said good-bye to our 2014-15 fellows and also welcomed in our 2015-16 group!

Today is a bittersweet day for us. Today, three incredibly talented young surgeons will complete their fellowship training in upper extremity and microvascular surgery here at the Hand Center of San Antonio and will move on to wonderful practices across the country.

A BIG Hand Center “Thumb’s up!” to Becky Hammon in leading the San Antonio Spurs Summer League team through 7 hard fought games, ultimately becoming the 2015 Samsung NBA Summer League Champions!

One of the Hand Center's very own, Dr. James Saucedo, was invited to Madrid, Spain in mid May 2015 to lead a workshop on distal radius fracture fixation and ulnar shortening osteotomy.

Dr. David Green founded the Helping Hands Fund in 2009 to help those less fortunate reach their goals through education. A 501c3 organization, the Helping Hands Fund raises money for scholarships and disburses those funds through San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries and Haven for Hope.

Dr. Pederson is no stranger to the microsurgery community. He has traveled all over the United States and the rest of the world sharing his perspective and expertise.
